Well-Known Gospel Music Family The Haddon’s Has Another Baby On The Way Via Deitrick Haddon’s Younger Sister CLARĒTA
July 23, 2015 (Detroit, MI) — Tyscot Records artist CLARĒTA Haddon-Jackson has announced she and husband Tony Jackson are expecting baby number 3 this winter. CLARĒTA’s announcement comes on the heels of brother Deitrick Haddon and wife Dominique Haddon’s baby number 3 announcement and the sudden death of Dominique’s mother, Mama Faye. Television fans were introduced to both Mama Faye & CLARĒTA Season 1 of the Oxygen show ‘Preachers of LA’.
The news also arrives in the midst of the CLARĒTA’s promotion for her new single ‘Winner’s Anthem’, on radio now, along with the ‘Preacher of Detroit’ anthem and Deitrick Haddon-produced song ‘My City’ and cross country touring. CLARĒTA was also seen earlier this year on TV One’s broadcast of the 30th Gospel Stellar Awards performing ‘My City’ with Deitrick Haddon, LXW, Dorinda Clark Cole, Kierra Sheard, J. Moss and more.
Shocked by the news herself, CLARĒTA and her team decided to wait until the second trimester of pregnancy to make an announcement. “I have experienced 5 pregnancies, and have 2 living children” said the singer when asked about the wait. The couple have 2 children together and 1 from a previous relationship. “That is some of what my song ‘Winner’s Anthem’ talks about. The times I have lost, but Hallelujah I can win.” CLARĒTA and husband/producer Tony Jackson talk about the loses of their children and more in the ‘Winner’s Anthem’ song story, www.youtube.com/watch?v=65Xx0elKWek.
Excited to find out the sex of the new baby CLARĒTA likes to shop and set up the nursery early. “The family is excited and my kids are literally dancing. Of course my daughter Kaydence wants a sister and my son Anthony wants a brother. They talk to my belly everyday. Our oldest, Breyona, wants to fly in for the delivery.”
CLARĒTA plans to work and tour until she is close to her delivery date. “Of course the health of the baby comes first, but I am excited that this is a part of my journey”
